What comes on Noovo’s 2025 RAM ProMaster chassis?

Noovo does a great job telling a prospective buyer about all of the delightful ways they designed and built the van, but things are a bit less clear about the chassis itself. What year is the chassis? What features (such as safety features) does it come with?

Most chassis are lagged by two years. That is, if you buy a 2026 X-Van, the build-out of the van will have been completed by 2026, but the van itself, the platform upon which they built, will typically be a 2024 model year. Noovo, for our van at least, is building our March-delivery unit on a 2025 chassis, a lag of only one year. That’s important to us in that the 2025 ProMaster includes several valuable safety features. I don’t need them now but I figure as I get older I might.

What safety features does the 2025 include? What other options does it include? I did what any normal person would do—I googled, I went to the RAM ProMaster page, I watched YouTube videos, I chatted with ChatGPT. I got nowhere. The options available seem to vary from dealer to dealer, and any specific option might appear in one package from one dealer and in another package from another dealer. Even if I could sort it all out, I wouldn’t know which options Noovo would have ordered for my van. I really wanted those safety features and I should have asked about them before committing to buy a van.

As part of the buying process, a Noovo representative calls you a week or so after you put down a deposit to “rough out” what options you will want and to pick an exterior color. Here’s a transcript, from memory, from the call where I brought up the potentially tricky question of what options the chassis comes with:

Me: What options do you buy the vans with?
Noovo: Almost all of them. I’ll e-mail you a dealer window sticker so you have the full list.
Me: Oh, that was easy.

Below you can see the included options, taken from the window sticker that I was sent (reformatted here for easier reading). Essentially, they order all the options, except for the winterization package. In that case, the wiring for the heated seats interferes with the rotation of the swivel seats.

I know that none of this is Rivian-cutting-edge, but I drive a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser, a purposely bare-bones off-road vehicle. It has electric windows and can beep to warn of obstacles when it backs up. It has manual seat adjustments, an AM/FM radio with a six-disc CD player, and zero electric safety features. I’m sure that, for me, the Noovo will be like driving the Starship Enterprise.

Behold the RAM ProMaster chassis, behold the options.
