Mono Vista RV Park is right on the road that wraps around the west side of Mono Lake, in Lee Vining, at the west entrance to Yosemite National Park. It has a view of the lake, though I wouldn’t call it a vista. We stayed there off-season as part of our exploration of Owens Valley.  They charge about $55 a night. The campground was clean and the staff friendly.

The walk-up window restaurant Mono Cone is worth your time as is the much more famous Whoa Nelly Deli, located just down the road in the Mobile station.
