Today I received a recall notice in the mail for our Noovo Plus. The RAM 3500 (and many other vehicles) has an issue with the digital rearview mirror sometimes not displaying an image when while in reverse. Obviously, this is not good.
I would bet that most owners will have already completed the fix invisibly with an automatic, “over-the-air,” firmware update. If you have not set your UConnect system to update automatically, when you do change to automatic, the update should soon follow. If for some reason you want to go to the dealer, you can do that, too.
You can check for existing and completed recalls here, by entering your VIN number:
If the recall on the mirror is listed as “completed,” then your van was updated automatically and the recall work is complete. Otherwise, change your settings or contact your dealer.
When I checked, our recall had been completed on August 13th.
